All installed but having issues on the app. It keeps saying Easy Start not found. Its all green, I did my 7 tests and now sitting in living room and nada. Do I have to be right on the unit to pick up??

Not explicitly stated anywhere that I could find.. A/C unit must the on and running for the bluetooth to connect, there is no bluetooth (or anything) when the A/C unit is not running. The 368-x72 brought my peak amps from 51.7 down to 32. Was hoping for more, but time will tell.

Micro-Air should pay you for this video or host it on their site. I could NOT figure out their directions. This was awesome...all installed. Thank you!!

There was another device on the post with the one red wire where I connected my orange wire. I removed it. It had a black wire and another black wire going to the busy post with all the white wires. I'm hoping it's ok I took that off. It's a smallish round cylinder type mechanism, all enclosed but two black wires exiting. Seems that maybe the "hard start you were speaking of"

Thanks for video, thus was only one I found with my style of Dometic AC. I have a Polar branded soft start but it requires same connections. I would prefer 2 screws for secure mounting but your location looks better than anything I could find . Thanks again ! Update - used one screw in bottom left hole same as video, then added some aluminum angle metal across top 2 screw locations & also fastened the angle metal to top of box cover, so soft start is fastened with 3 screws.. happy camper

Nice video and product. Question, please: Do you have to drain the fuel line before switching over to propane? How is that done with the unit demonstrated here in this video?

I bought ours at least a year ago, but finally got around to installing it this week. We suffered a hot music festival without AC last month, so that was motivation. We bought ours direct from Micro-Air on sale, so it did not come with all the nice things you include. Dang, wish I had known, but I sourced all but the drilled hole flange. I printed off the large MA instructions; they're intimidating! I found this video, watched it 2-3 times, and made my own abbreviated notes. Install was a breeze! It works GREAT! Thank you so much!

I plan to add a quick connect after my current regulator. Can I buy the conversion kit with out your regulator? Thanks

Getting ready to install EasyStart 368 on home AC and this is very helpful especially the app program where you go into relearn and show how to change settings. In my case I need to change No pwr on delay to ON and change SCPT to 1 per Microair due to fact that my system already has compressor monitoring module. Thanks

Nicely done. Question though - have you installed one of these on a Furrion A/C unit? That capacitor has four contacts not just the usual three. Just curious.

It cost me $1250.00 plus parts to have two electricians to wire an 50 amp generator inlet box outside and an interlock kit and generator breaker in my circuit breaker panel. This seems comparable in cost.

Amazing product! Even with a small generator this would be handy just to power essential breakers for freezers, refrigerators and TV and entertainment devices which is what I usually do but with extension cords.

The problem with the Hutch kit is that at best, it's bound to fail. And at worst, cause an explosion. The weakest link in their system is actually the piece that feeds the propane into the engine, which is simply a piece of 3D printed plastic... Anyone who installs that has to be genuinely insane. The Grenergy conversion kit uses a CNC machined aluminum venturi instead.

I'm thinking about getting one of these for my Dometic Brisk Air II. 13.5K BTU.

I have an easy start on my 3 ton home AC it works great starts at less than 18 amps most times. My Generac whole house generator doesn't even know the AC comes on. My question is when the app shows a fault is there a way to determine what the fault was. We had a large storm last night and the utility power was flashing low voltage off and on a few times while the AC was operating. It did shut the AC DOWN for the three minute delay. By them the power stabilized and it had a normal restart possibly saving the system. It did set a fault code. I'm just curious if thers a way to see what the actual fault was. It's not important I'm just an inquisitive pearson. By the way great product I highly recommend it for any home AC weather you have a backup generator or not!

Hutch had my Easy Start in stock and I received it right away. My 13K generator easy handles the 4T AC now.

Ok, I finally got around to installing mine, because of this video, I was lucky to have the same one so, it took me 30 minutes from start to finish, thanks to everyone.

Can this power a 24K btu split type AC?

We have used the ruclips.net/user/postUgkxOTeIs0vv4_9B5hsmnLsk9r930uDQLu_Y for probably 30 hours with our camper and it’s been great! The noise level is really only noticeable when running the AC and other appliances like the microwave, hair dryer, or coffee pot. It’s not huge like other ones and it has wheels so even at 90lbs, I can move it!

Once you convert it can you still run gasoline from it or does it become purely propane and natural gas

Planning on buying 2 units for 2 acs and watched your video. Do the ends now all come with connectors?

I just installed my EasyStart, and for whatever reason the peak amps has not gone down, but went up. I have a 5 ton unit, and it went from 63 amps (not sure how that happens when I have a 50 amp breaker switch (double pole since it’s 220 volts), to 67.4 peak amps. Did not go down at all. Am I doing something wrong?

I've bought and installed several tri fuel conversion kits. Hutch Mountain conversion kits and parts is the very best out there. I've been into mechanics, engines and propane for decades. I've installed some other propane conversion kits. I will not buy from them again. Hutch mountain is the easiest and simplest fuel conversion kit to install out there! Great customer service and sales! Thanks for all the those fuel conversion kits, technical and support! Very nice friendly staff!

I installed mine yesterday 07/04/2023. It is the Bluetooth 368. All I did was download the app, and it connected without any passwords/ID numbers etc, or other questions. I just opened app and selected connect. that was it. The instructions are not clear, but it seems they improved it over what they used to have to do. Very happy.

Thanks for the video. I wish I had seen it BEFORE I configured my EasyStart after installing it. The app permissions tripped me up. I don't know if the EasyStart kit was setup by Micro-Air or by Hutch Mountain, but it was almost plug and play. I had to make one cut (to two wires at the same time) instead of the multiple wire cuts I was expecting.
